February 2012: 4B Opens New Offices in Australia and the USA Both 4B Australia and 4B USA have now moved to bigger premises. The new facilities will bring 4B’s total worldwide manufacturing and distribution capacity to over 400,000 sq. ft.
January 2011: 4B Braime opens new subsidiary in Australia 4B Braime, leading supplier of elevator and conveyor components, has created a new operation especially for the Australian market.
March 2010: 4B Braime to exhibit on Victam Asia / Thailand 3-5 March 2010 4B is exhibiting its large range of drop forged chain, which now includes double and triple links. 4B chain is machined to precise tolerances with the highest tensile strengths. It is heat treated to endure heavy duty and highly abrasive applications.
September 2008: 4B Drop Forged Chain - New Sizes and Styles now available In addition to the popular 102, 142, 216 and 260 mm chain pitches together with accessories to suit, 4B now manufactures 125, 150, 160, 175, 200 and 250 mm chain pitches as well. For specialized, high capacity applications, 4B also offers double and triple chain links. New sizes on request.

June 2006: AB400 Elite Elevator / Conveyor Belt Misalignment System Detects dangerous misalignment of buckets and belt to prevent costly downtime and help eliminate the risk of explosions. The AB400 Elite uses an electronic microprocessor control unit and up to 4 magnetic alignment sensors to monitor the alignment of the belts of 2 separate bucket elevators / conveyors. April 2006: Inline Junction Box D5M The best compromise for industrial and Dust Hazard explosive atmospheres ATEX certified for zone 20, 21 and 22 In explosive and industrial atmospheres it is often necessary to connect different types of cables when installing sensors. Traditionally, junction boxes were used for this but were often cumbersome and expensive. Alternatively, it is not always possible to install ATEX connectors on the sensors themselves and in some cases this solution can become very costly. The DM5 Inline Junction Box has been developed to overcome these problems. It is a compromise between a junction box and a proprietary connector for sensors.
April 2006: P100 - Inductive sensor (18mm diameter) ATEX certified (gas zone 1 and dust zone 20) The P100 inductive sensor is designed for various purposes such as position indication or the generation of impulses for the detection of speed (elevator, belt, motor...) in explosive gas or dust atmospheres, without internal cabling. It has received the ATEX certification Ex II 2G 1D Eex m IIB T4 T100°C which allows it to be used in zone 20, 21 and 22 (dust) and zone 1,2 (gas).
February 2006: "WHIRLIGIG" ™ Three in One by 4B The "WHIRLIGIG" ™ three in one target / bracket / guard is available for all industry standard cylindrical or DIN inductive sensors. The sensor bolts to the base plate and the complete assembly couples to the machines shaft. The installation of speed sensors is now simple and reliable. Shaft end float and machine vibration does not adversely affect the performance of the sensor, as the whole assembly moves with the shaft.
January 2006: Watchdog "Elite" Bucket Elevator Monitor The bucket elevator monitor for the 21st century. The 4B Watchdog "Elite" uses non-contacting, magnetic sensors to monitor belt speed and belt alignment at the head / boot or both. Additional sensors monitor bearing temperature, head pulley alignment and plugged spout conditions. The system incorporates dual microprocessor control, using the latest PIC microprocessors and non-volatile (EEPROM) memory chips.
January 2006: ROTOSAFE - Rotary Level Indicator -- by 4B 4B introduces a new and improved Rotary Level Indicator. The ATEX approved RotoSafe incorporates two detection circuits. One circuit indicates when material has impeded the paddle, and the other circuit provides indication when the paddle stops turning, therefore making it a failsafe solution for high level or plug condition monitoring in bins, silos elevators or conveyors. Bonus features include user adjustable sensitivity, LED indication and a corrosion resistant housing.
November 2005: Pullswitch - Conveyor Safety Stop Switch - by 4B Taut wire Pullswitch provides "failsafe" emergency stop protection along the length of the conveyor. Compact double-ended design with five changeover relay contacts, allows shutdown of the conveyor if the cable is pulled or if the cable becomes slack. Internal snap-action trip inhibits conveyor re-start until the tripped Pullswitch is manually reset. High visibility flag indication and "cats eye" lens provides quick and simple location of the tripped Pullswitch under all conditions.

October 2005: Stackable CC-S Style Elevator Buckets - by 4B 4B Braime has developed what is described as "the world's first stackable CC-style polymer elevator bucket."
